Run the Mile. Carry the Weight.
Enter as an individual or team. Carry ammo cans, American flags, and replica M16s through five obstacles and 19 memorial stations deep in the Queenslake woods. Registration is completely free for all participants.
Be the Backbone of the Event.
Every great tribute runs on great volunteers. We need help with course marshaling, registration check-in, setup and teardown, vendor coordination, and more. Volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt and the gratitude of every Gold Star family in attendance.
Put Your Name Beside Their Names.
Sponsorship at the Mogadishu Mile is more than a logo placement — it is a public declaration that your business stands with those who served. Presenting Sponsors, Event Partners, and Community Partners all receive recognition on-site, online, and in all event materials.
Every Dollar Honors a Hero.
Can't make it to Georgetown? You can still be part of the mission. Donations go directly to our beneficiary organizations — Three Rangers Foundation and Kentucky Wounded Heroes — supporting veterans, Gold Star families, and first responders across the country.
Witness Something You'll Never Forget.
You don't have to run to be part of this. Spectators are welcome — and essential. Come watch the opening ceremony, cheer competitors at the finish line, and stay for the all-day Music Festival from noon until dusk. Bring your family. Bring your flag.
Every Role Matters
Whether you run, volunteer, sponsor, donate, or simply show up — you are keeping their names alive. That is the whole point.
